VCU Recreational Sports offers a full-scale aquatics program, serving the whole VCU community. We offer a variety of events at both our pools located on the MCV and Monroe Park Campuses.

Lifeguard & Water Safety Courses

Our certification course teaches lifeguard candidates the skills and knowledge necessary to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies. Our lifeguard re-certification course is to give individuals the opportunity to demonstrate knowledge and skill competency in a challenge format. The American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor course trains instructor candidates to teach courses in the American Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety program. More »
